I'm excited about this. I was hoping to be able to announce this along with the CD release, but the timing of everything didn't work out - but God's timing is perfect. If you've read this blog at all, you might remember that I had an opportunity in January to go on a songwriters trip to Mumbai, India. It was a trip that honestly changed my life. The very last day of the trip, some members of the team and I visited an orphanage on the outskirts of the city. The Spirit stirred something up in my heart that day - and gave me a love and passion for this orphanage and ministry that just won't go away. [read more here]

We're about 8 days away from the CD release and some of you might be saying to yourself, "What's all this Daughters and Sons business about anyways?" Well, I hope this little blog post sheds a little light on what this new project is all about. it's an album that we began work on last May - first recording some demos, writing some more songs, working through the songs with Mac, recording in the fall, mixing and mastering this spring, and waiting for a bunch of boxes of CDs to arrive on our doorstep right now.
